Singaporean. Bold hawker flavours. Family-run.
Our journey began in our kitchen, grew into a popular market stall, evolved into a Bak Chor Mee kit available nationwide, and now we’re on the road with Shiokee
— the first Kei food truck designed and built in New Zealand.
Join us at the markets, try our meal kits at home, or let us cater your next event.
Our Bak Chor Mee Kit
We made a uniquely Singaporean (and arguably her most underrated) noodle dish into a kit, with all the fundamentals you need to make it at home.
Fresh mee pok, braised shiitake mushrooms, sambal chilli, fragrant oil and seasoning.
No pork, no lard. Vegetarian-friendly.
Ready in 3 minutes.
From kit to bowl in 3 steps
Step 1
Boil the noodles
Cook mee pok in boiling water for 2 minutes (or until al dente). Drain.
Step 2
Prepare the sauce
Combine seasoning oil and vinegar, braised mushrooms and sambal in a bowl. Add cooked mee pok and toss until well coated.
Step 3
Make it your own
Top with whatever you love — cooked minced meat, fishballs, extra chilli. Your bowl, your rules. Enjoy hot.

We do more than just Bak Chor Mee
Here are other hawker favourites and dishes we grew up with.
And that we make really well.
Why we do what we do
Singapore's flavours, New Zealand made.
We came here, missed home, and did something about it. Here's our story.
